The British musical icon and the godfather of modern alternative music has an influence that cannot be overstated. Straddling the worlds of hard rock and glam metal, they provided an anarchic soundtrack to the big hair generation, solidifying their here-to-stay status with the release of their seminal soaring power ballad 'Sister Christian' in 1984.

Held on Thanksgiving Day in November 1976 at San Francisco's Winterland Ballroom, The Last Waltz was The Band's farewell show and went down in history as a cult classic concert thanks to its cinematic immortalization by Martin Scorsese and special guest performers including Eric Clapton, Dr. John, Joanie Mitchell, Muddy Waters, Neil Young, Van Morrison, and Ringo Starr, amongst others.
